We have a beginners session from 6:30-7 pm at Pappa Rollo’s Pizza (Outback building) on Thursday nights. If we get enough beginners we can schedule to start earlier or another night for just beginners for an hour session. We can also schedule online for personal one on one or small group lessons.

Materials you will need are as follows:

Beginner Bagpipes

Any poly or blackwood chanter works, but if you’re new my suggestion is the RG Hardie Twist-Trap (PRCO2P on lonestarpiper.com) standard plastic (poly) regular length practice chanter.

You do not need a book. All book/paper material will be provided.

Snare Drum

Snare Pad- any pad works, the off-world or Hugh Cameron pads are great pads.

Sticks- Kilpatrick KP2s plain

Tenor Drum

Tenor Drum Sticks

Bass Drum

Only space for one bass and one back up…can play tenor or snare secondary
